Women are such weak creatures...

I just managed to catch the uncensored version of 'Lust, Caution'....Wow....
















Don't even get me started on the infamous, extremely erotic love-making scenes which Tony Leung had with Tang Wei. This is not the direction where this blog entry is going to....But to digress...the scenes were done up so realistically that I simply could not tell if it is just truly acting. The expressions...the erotism....the actions....the positions and angles??? God.. it's hard for me to believe that it is just acting....at the end of those few scenes, it had me on the edge....(I will not even attempt to elaborate what that means because it will border on pornography...)

I didn't complete the movie...basically, Oddmelody just wanted to show me the 3 scenes and if I could see any loopholes to the love-making....(which I couldn't) and she gave me a summary of the entire movie....Tang Wei is part of a student group who is trying to assassinate Tony Leung who is a traitor, working for the Japanese. The plan was for her to gain his trust and lead him into a trap where he could be killed by the country patriots. Well....what better way is there than to seduce the guy and make him fall head over heels in love with you....The plan would have gone really well if not for Tang Wei falling in love with Tony (actually I understand....how can anybody not fall in love with Tony??!!...*sorry...I'm digressing again...*). In the end, Tang Wei could not bring herself to set Tony up and he discovered her secret identity. She and her crew members ended up killed by Tony Leung. What a bummer....

Anyway, the point of my entry is that women are just such weak creatures....when it is career and work...we are all business and professional. But when it comes to love, we are such weaklings. The female species are made in such a way that we can never separate love from sex. Maybe we can brainwash ourselves to say we can do so in the beginning.....but ultimately, we'll want more....we'll want more attention...time....and finally, we'll want his love and heart as well. That is why the concept of the a "fuck buddy" can never materialise smoothly...we'll bloody well just end up falling in love with the person.

In Lust, Caution.....I truly believe that even if Tang Wei had hardened her heart to lead Tony into the setup to kill him, she would remain miserable for the rest of her life. Possibly, it would be a fate which is worst than being killed by the man she loved....
