Business Trip

Just received news that I will have to be in Japan to help out in a project in 2 weeks time....

At first I was excited at the prospect of being there...come on ...it's Tokyo for God's sake! Tokyo!!!! I can salivate just thinking about the shopping that I can do....the cosmetics!!! The latest trends..etc etc etc....that is until I found out the amount of work that is assigned to me (pre-departure as well as while I am there). That made me wonder...what the hell are the japanese team doing??? With the work assigned, i am practically running the entire show!!!!! My boss was like "Nevermind...this one leave it to XXX when she comes over....that one also leave it her...that one and all that as well...." Huh??? I feel overwhelmed already...that, plus the fact that my japanese is still totally crap made me even more apprehensive. My work schedule there is also totally inhumane - from 7am onwards till late (I think the track record is about 11 -1am). Totally defying all labour laws....... God....what have I gotten myself into....

Anyway, I gotta be there for one month as well which is really too long.....think little hele will forget about her mommy by the time I am back.....;-(
