Shopping in Tuas

Who says that Tuas is a boring place and that we can't do any shopping?

In actual fact, Tuas is full of little treasures and surprises. For the last couple of months, my colleagues and I discovered the Meiji factory and their 'public sales' every friday. All types of meiji products are sold at a discounted price. It's really quite a good buy as compared to buying from the supermarket.

Today, I discovered the Sintex textile factory. They were having their year-end sales and everything were like 80% off. From Mattresses, Pillows, Bedlinen, Towels to clothes? See the crowd?



















Within an hour, I got the following:

Quilt cover + Pillow cases
Bolster case
2 anti-mites pillows
1 cotton quilt/comforter

and all for $50/-!!! Is that cheap or what...ordinarily, it'd cost me more than $100....*smirk look*
